In cooperation of “Naša Srbija” and municipality of Medijana in Niš, it was provided new home for Stefan Stajić. At the Stefan’s discharging from the MMA, the president of “Naša Srbija” Mladjan Djordjević made promise to Stefan and his mother Slavica that “Naša Srbija” will provide new home for them so Stefan can live in condition which are best for his recovery. This campaign was coordinated by “Naša Srbija” and Mediana and it was bought new flat of 59 square meters in Niš. Funds for this flat were provided thanks to the donations of numerous companies: Vojvodjanska banka – National Bank of Greece, Direct Media, Jet Company, Banini, Telekom Srbija, but also thanks to the funds collected in Charity Golf Tournament organized by Hyatt Hotel and Golf Club Belgrade which was held in April 5, and the donation of Mrs. Neda Maletić. “Simpo” company and Mediana provided new furniture.

On Easter, April 28, 2008, in atmosphere full of emotions, the founder of “Naša Srbija” Dragan Djilas and mayor of Mediana Dragoslav Ćirković, handed in the keys of the flat to Stefan’s mother. Their joy was shared with Stefan’s friends and other people who gave disinterestedly support to Stefan in his hard struggle for life.

- We are very happy because “Naša Srbija” has realized its promise. I like the color of my room. Now I can make parties in it, said Stefan entering his new home. I love my room, the whole flat, all I can do now is to learn, said the boy who is going to spa in Niš for rehabilitation.

-I am grateful to all who were with us in past year. I want to thank to Dragan Djilas for being a kind of politician whose politics is based on helping people, said Slavica, Stefan’s mother.

Stefan’s school awarded “Naša Srbija” with Diploma of humanity for helping Stefan. As organization which takes care of Stefan, “Naša Srbija” wish to thank to all people who supported campaign for helping Stefan and it will continue to follow his recovery.
