In the second part of the School of Friendship, from July 28 to August 3, under the patronage of the Executive Council of Vojvodina, it was held the third multiethnic seminar “Days of Friendship” which
participants were children from eight different nationalities living in all parts of Serbia. Themes of the seminar are tolerance and multicultural differences, and its aim is to promote the values of multiethnic and multicultural tolerance, contribution to building and development of modern democratic society.
This year also, seminar hosted 160 participants: children of Hungarian nationality from Kanjiza, Bulgarian nationality from Dimitrovgrad, Slovakian nationality from Backi Petrovac, Ruthenian
from Ruski Krstur, Romanian nationality from Nikolinci, Bosnian nationality from Brodarevo, Albanian nationality from Tupale (Medvedja) and Serbian nationality – children of “Naša Srbija”.
Program of creative and educative workshops was realized by professional team of psychologist coordinated by Dijana Kopunović
and with supervision by Prof. Žarko Trebješanin.
As the integral part of the School of Friendship program that treats intercultural education, seminar makes an opportunity for children of different nationalities to meet each other, make friendships and learn among themselves about cultural specifics.
Leaded by team spirit, participants have formed multiethnic teams for the quiz competition about Romania. Minja Subota and Jovan Avramov organized Mini-tini fest for the children.
